| To investigate the ecological vulnerability of the Qijiang River Basin(Chongqing section), an
assessment was conducted based on the SRP model, selecting 14 evaluation indicators such as elevation.
The weights of the indicators were determined using a combination of the analytic hierarchy process and
the coefficient of variation method. The results indicate that the ecological sensitivity in the study area is
generally low, with moderate and severe zones mainly distributed in the eastern and northwestern regions,
primarily influenced by vegetation coverage and land use type. The potential and slightly vulnerable zones
of ecological resilience account for more than half of the area, while moderate and severe zones are mainly
located in the western region and along the Qijiang River, with landscape fragmentation being the dominant
influencing factor. Moderate and severe ecological pressure zones are concentrated in the central, southern,
and western regions, with some distribution in the northwest, primarily affected by population distribution.
Overall, the ecological vulnerability of the region is relatively low, with moderate and severe vulnerability zones mainly distributed in the central, southern, and eastern regions, primarily influenced by population
distribution and landscape fragmentation, with ecological pressure being the dominant criterion. |
